About This Retreat

Hi Guys! I want to tell you about this retreat so you will all be excited and ready to be a part of it. First of all, I named this retreat His Kingdom Come for the sole reason that God is come and His Holy Spirit resides with us and we are to continually remain in His love, allowing Him to live with us....For we are His Kingdom, his building! His Kingdom Come retreat is fruit from a conviction God gave me over winter break to simply come to HIM, desperate for Him. We are desperate for him. We are hungry and thirsty and he is our sustenance. We NEED God even though our pride makes us suffer-ably strong....but now let us break...

'Oh God, you are my God,
earnestly I seek you,
my soul thirsts for you,
my body longs for you,
in a dry and weary land
where there is no water
...' psalm. 63.

This time is for you individually and us together to seek God FIRST (he is our first love!) and let his sovereignty reign. We are not talking about church here, or doctrine, or practicalities. We are coming to God to rest in his love, listen to his words spoken to our ears, pray in solitary intimacy with the Lord, and pray in intercession for one another. We will speak truth and hear truth. We will respond, confess, and encourage. We will worship our Awesome God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. In every way we will love Him and love one another.

All are welcome! Invite any friend, classmate, workmate, sibling...we are simply proclaiming and experiencing God's love here and that is for everyone.
